We are happy to help you!

During your studies, you may encounter a wide variety of organisational
questions:

  • How can I finance myself?
  • I would like to spend a semester abroad - how do I best prepare for this?
  • I am currently unable to continue studying due to my health - what do I have to do now?
  • My visa has expired - who can help me?
  • My parents need my support - can I interrupt my studies?
  • When do I have to register for exams, how can I do this?

Do you have a health impairment and are you worried that you will have difficulties with your studies as a result? Or have you already experienced that examination formats, a lack of accessible teaching materials or prejudices because of your impairment. Is this hindering you in your studies?

We can advise you on compensating for disadvantages in examinations, individual study procedures, aids and much more.

We support you in organising your studies with a child or when caring for relatives.

Pregnancy during studies – maternity protection for students

The aim of the Maternity Protection Act is to protect the health of women and their children at work, in training and at university during pregnancy, after childbirth and during breastfeeding.

Maternity protection ensures that students are not disadvantaged due to pregnancy, childbirth or breastfeeding. Reporting your pregnancy/breastfeeding to the university is voluntary. However, you can only invoke the statutory protection provisions if you inform the university as early as possible that you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The earlier you report your pregnancy, the better the university can ensure your maternity protection.
