Unter dem Motto „Welcome Europe!“ fand vom 5. bis zum 9. September 2022 die Europäische Kammermusik Akademie Leipzig (EKAL), bereits zum dritten Mal, statt.
Hier kann man das Eröffnungs- und Abschlusskonzert ansehen.
Im Anschluss (vom 10. bis zum 18. September 2022) fand auch wieder das Kammermusikfestival CON SPIRITO statt: conspiritoleipzig.de

We are looking forward to the 2nd European Chamber Music Academy Leipzig, which will take place on the 19th of September 2021. Due to the Corona Pandemic in a smaller form, welcoming young ensembles from six European Music Universities.
EKAL is cooperating with the chamber music festival CON SPIRITO. At the shared Opening concert of the EKAL and Final Concert of CON SPIRITO the young and the experienced musicians play chamber music together.

Eleven emerging ensembles from ten European countries are invited to appear during the first European Chamber Music Academy Leipzig 2019. The Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig and the Freundeskreis der Hochschule as hosts have organized almost 30 concerts in Leipzig and the metropolitan area of Mitteldeutschland. This is a unique showcase for highly talented young European chamber music ensembles to share their musical experiences in one of the most prominent musical centres in Europe, to celebrate their mutual European heritage, and to project the European ideals of today and the future. Leipzig, the Freistaat Sachsen and the Region of Mitteldeutschland with its cosmopolitan public are happy to invite you to this unique musical endeavour: WELCOME EUROPE!
