Scholarship for
non-EU students

The scholarship

The scholarship is open to all HMT students from non-EU countries who are enrolled at the HMT  and who are still studying in the regular period of their study programme.


The only criteria for selection is a proven need of the scholarship applicant.

The scholarship covers the amount of money up to the amount of the tuition fee paid by the student. In this respect, the fee has not been paid to the HMT, a scholarship grant may take the form of set-off to the amount of tuition fee payable.

 

Application

For the application process, the university has launched scholarship regulations (see downloads on the right side). The scholarships are awarded annually. The scholarship grantees are chosen by a selection committee based on the applicants' written application.

 

Deadline for the study period 2024:  17th November 2023.

Documents to be submitted

  • the completed and signed application form (which will be sent to you via e-mail)
  • Evidence of your own average income and expenditure for the past 3 months as well as cash and deposits in € amounts. (see list in the application form )
  • Proof of income and financial circumstances of the spouse or partner as per German Civil Partnership Act responsible for support (see list in the application form) relevant only for applicants up to the age of 25.

If the application documents are not in German or English language, a translation needs to be enclosed.

Important note:
Applications not submitted in due time and proper form will not be considered.

 

The scholarships will be awarded in December 2023.
