general information

Dealing with the corona virus

The Robert Koch Institute has named risk areas under the following link:

risk areas as defined by the RKI

If you have stayed in one of these risk areas (widespread community transmission) within the last 14 days or have had contact with a corona patient, please note the following – even if you do not feel any symptoms of illness:

- If possible, stay at home 14 days (= incubation period) after returning from the risk area!

- In the event of acute respiratory symptoms of any severity, with or without fever, inform the responsible public health department and, after giving prior notice by telephone, consult a doctor, especially if you have been travelling in one of the risk areas.

Please find the competent local health authority here.

In general, for all:

Ensure adequate hand hygiene as well as coughing and sneezing etiquette (coughing and sneezing in the crook of your arm) and refrain from shaking hands! Avoid unnecessary contact, crowds of people and keep a distance of one to two metres to your counterpart!
