Electroacoustic Music

Educational concept

From the very beginning, the individual artistic projects form the core of the training. Based on these projects, working techniques are developed and procedures of sound processing, the handling of studio technology and the (electro-)acoustic basics are discussed. For this purpose, we offer individual lessons, group lessons and subject-specific seminars.

Forms of study

In the main subject Electroacoustic Composition, we offer both a Master's programme and a Master Class programme, each lasting 2 years.
For students of the Bachelor's degree programme in Composition / Music Theory / Improvisation, the subject is a compulsory part of the training with a basic seminar over 1 semester as well as a series of individual courses and seminars.
Individual lessons in electroacoustic music are also compulsory in the Master's degree programme in Improvisation.

In addition, all students at the university can take the subject as an elective module - in individual lessons and especially in the two basic courses developed for newcomers to the subject or for those interested with previous knowledge.

Please do not forget to register for the courses of the coming semester in good time before the end of the current semester by emailing Ms Wolf and the studio manager. (See the module overview).
